i have a 99 montero 4X4 V6 3.0 and i had a leaking oil pan gasket at the trans. .. thought it was rear main seal but bell housing interior is dry of any oil .. pulled the pan and replaced gasket .. there were no problems for about 2 weeks so i drove from home in san bernardino to my moms in costa mesa .. about 80 miles .. on the freeway doin 70 to 75 mph entire time .. got to moms and noticed oil spots comming from my engine looked under and oil was leaking from same rear section of oil pan right at the housing .

would block pressure fron a bad PVC valve cause the gasket to leak again ? .. the leak is pretty major and oil is blowing back on the cross members and burning on the exhaust .

the engine is a rebuild and is about 1 year in the vehicle with less than 2000 miles and this will be my 2nd oil pan gasket replacement.

any sugestions or experience with the same issue would be most appreciated .. it's my only transpo for work
