Hi, I bought a tuning device from tuning wizard for my 3.5 Pajero.

Now in the installation guide the manufacturer tells that I have to find two wires (The two IAT signal ports will carry a value 1 to 5 volts and earth)



So here are the wires to the MAF sensor, I found online that the two IAT wires are the white with black stripes and the red with blue stripes (the two I lift with my probe)

OK so here is the problem, when I use the volt meter neither of them give me the 5 volts stated. But If i connect the probe from the mulitmeter to the black one I get a 5 volt reading. But I´m only supposed to connect 2 wires not three.

Hopefully I get the help I need here.
