I want to install a rear spoiler on my 2007 Pajero to help keep back area clear when driving down dirt roads. Can't seem to find a decent spoiler at a reasonable price. Are the earlier model (v73w) spoiler the same as the later models (v98w)?

Along the same question how does this mount onto top of rear cargo door? I see there are bolt holes in spoiler but is there a captive nut hidden in door skin or do I need to mod/install myself?

Looking like the measurements from the 2004 spoiler will fit my 2007 Pajero so going to purchase and give a go. I know this is probably not a high priority with most owners but I think it will help with my dirt issue and help balance the looks with the front Roar spoiler. I also have some damage on the top of rear door from a previous owner which this spoiler should cover.

im not sure in the pajero, but in the USDM market, the 2002-2006 spoilers are all the same correct me if im wrong.

mine did not have a spoiler from the factory. i installed one. an oem style. not actual oem original from mitsu, but a copy like the one in your link. so obviously there were no mounting holes on the top of the rear door. so yes i had to drill holes from the inside. the spoiler itself was threaded so it was assumed that was the way. i wouldnt trust double sided tape no matter how strong.
