Removing the sliding rear window on a 95 Montero?

Anyone have any suggestions on how to get the frame and everything out? Someone tried to gain access and destroyed the frame while shattering the front piece. Need to replace the entire deal

I scanned the two pages in the FSM that cover this. Not exactly a step by step guide but it does give the order of removal and replacement. The pdf is too large to attach in this forum. Send me a Private Message with an e-mail address and I'll send it to you.

Would that same guide apply to a gen1 montero 2door with rear sliders?

Not sure but there are only 2 fairly generic pages in my '99 manual and I doubt there was a ton of difference in body-window assy techniques from gen to gen. Couldn't hurt for you to take a look. Shoot me a Private Message with e-mail address and I'll send them to you.
