What kind of transmission fluid?

If my local dealer isn't offering a coupon for MM AFT, and I'm getting it off the internet, I've never had a complaint about the mob that's linked below...and the price isn't a bad value IMHO.
STM: FLUIDS | ENGINE OIL | TRANSMISSION | ATF | TRANSFER CASE

I'm also paying the price.
I got my transmission flushed with BG Synthetic fluid, and now i'm on the list of people who are having a torque converter shudder. PLEASE USE MITSUBISHI SPIII.
I'm hoping it's not too far damaged, I bought the right fluid and filter from the dealer and i'll be doing it over the weekend. I'll post results if it solves the problem... Wish me luck

My 2002 Montero developed a shudder that no-one could diagnose or fix. After replacing the torque converter 3 times and the transmission twice and using the SP III AT fluid at a dealer the shudder went away for a while but came back. Now what should I do other then keep changing the oil each time it happens. Is there a transmission oil additive I can use to reduce the lockup shudder/vibration? I get around it by driving in semi-automatic gear mode and keeping revs over 2000.

Like I posted before, I have been using Castrol Import Fluid Diamond III spec since 30K miles. Trans shifts perfectly and I have no shudder at all. No leaks whatsoever either. I have 120K on it now and am going to do it again. I do not add a drop of trans fluid between changes.

Just recently went to the dealer for an ATF service and they changed out the fluid with Valvoline MaxLife ATF instead of the OEM Mitsu stuff. I figured if the dealer used it and the website for Valvoline says it's ok, I am in the clear.

in a dire situation?
All I'd like to ask is in the case of losing a quart or two and the mitz spf3 is not readily available, is there a blend you can use just to get the fluid up to a safe level? Just to make it by? Not as a complete flush and refill, just to add a little?
