Default Go to dealer for oil change?

Where do you guys like to go for oil changes? The dealer or some independent shop? I payed $36.00 yesterday for oil change at the dealer, I could get it done cheaper elsewhere.
Stick with dealer or find a mechanic?

You can saveby your choice:
1) Money
2) Time
3) Nervous (when warranty issue will become)
-
my choice in warranty period - dealer only,

PS: Service inspection includes not only oil change. Filters, brake pads, fluids etc.Should you think about it? Dealer must.

if something ever goes wrong with your engine when you get oil changes at the dealership, then there is no argument about warranty.
can't say the same about non-dealer oil changes.

I do it myself, unless this is a car under warrenty where if I am afraid of engine trouble in the future, I would take it to them, because I can't prove that I did it.

I checked the price of the oil I am using (Mobil 1 ESP 5W/30 ESP Formula). My dealer has the same price as on the market.
And taking into account that at 15000 km I had to change also the filters (air, fuel, pollen) and make other checking, I would definitely go with the service, not necessarily the dealer but a MITSUBISHI authorized one.
And I payed 300$ for this

For last 15 years have always taken my cars to the dealer. Many years back I tried some independents and quick lube places, but they always tried to sell you something you don't needor find some other "problem" that they say you need to fix. I guess I've been lucky because I've never had any problems with the dealers.

Personally, i do it myself. Keep an eye out for dealer coupons in the paper or their website could have specials.
