Hi again,
I have decided to replace this sensor, still having the problem from time to time.
When you replaced your one, was it just take the old one off and replace it, or is there more to it, like lining something up.

Hi, it was just a simple fit job, no adjustment. It took only 5 minutes. I took the assembly from the body to make it easier to access.

Hi beefos,
I decicded to replace replaced the sensor, apparently it's called a Pedal Travel Sensor, as you said only a 5 minute job, but I dropped one of the bolts, so it took me 10 minutes Ha! Ha!
I did have to make a small adjustment turning the sensor to slow the RPMs down but that was it.
Thanks again for the feedback.
Where in the UK are you from? I moved to Canada from Portsmouth UK.

Hi Brian, I must have been lucky with the adjustment but an easy job anyway and lots of money saved on the dealers!
I'm in Swindon so 80 miles or so north of you.
