Default 2013 Outlander SE accessories

Got my 2013 yesterday.... Below is a list of things in the works

Completed in bold

1) HID lows and highs - Opt7 Boltzen Canbus series 5000k
2) Floor liners for 1st and 2nd row - Novline NOV13523210
3) Mud flaps - Mitsubishi MZ380526EX ordered
4) Get rid of the atrocious material on the center console and door armrests
5) Swap interior map lights to LEDs
6) Oznium footwell lights and Cargo/Hatch LED lights - ORDERED
7) Yakima Crossbars - RailGrab w/58" bars
8) Stainless door/tailgate sills - MZ380370EX & MZ574482EX
9) OPT7 Cree LED 5000k H11 or OPT7 Boltzen Canbus series 5000k H11 fogs
10) AEM dryflow filter - P/N 28-20392
11) Install seat and back heaters in 2nd row
12) Fumoto oil drain valve - P/N F-106
13) Strut tower caps - P/N 4060A136
14) LED exterior lights (ALL)
15) Stainless pedal covers - Aluminium Alloy at Foot Pedals Pedal for Mitsubishi Outlander 2007 2015 | eBay ordered

Here are my questions on the others...

2) DRLs - who is using them? Let's see some mounting options, and what did you buy?

4) I want to make sure they fit right and actually work as intended. Which makes me thing the factory Mitsubishi brand is way to go... But $100+ is a little steep I think.. Anyone using a set of ANY brand and how do you like them?
*UPDATE* just found Mitsubishi P/N MZ380526EX and ordered... "for Outlander models with chrome lower molding in the rocker panels ONLY!!" $40.. and brand new!!!

5) the center console and armrests on doors are a cheep cloth material. I looked last night for black leather parts off a GT model and every piece runs about $100. I can't fathom spending $500 just to get rid of it. Any ideas?

So... Got it all vacuumed, armor all'd, and smelling nice inside after picking it up Wednesday!!

I tried something out to see how it looked and I think I'll stay with it... I replaced the yellow parking lights up front with 6000k LEDs...

Tell me what ya think?

Are you going to change your rear turn signals and reverse to LEDs?

Maybe.... I changed my stop/turn in my Dodge Durango with Pilot LED (had to add resistor due to hyper flash) but am not overly happy with the brightness.

BUT.. the Outlander is just a TURN (not stop/turn like my Durango) if/when one goes out, then I might... but not in the works for the near future.

Do you know if Hyper Flash is illegal?

Doubt it's "illegal" but hyper flash occurs with regular, NON-LED bulbs when one bulb is out... for example if your driver side rear turn signal is out, you will get a "hyper flash" of your FRONT driver side turn signal..

Police officers probably know this and give them an excuse to pull you over

Correcting hyper flash is more for your own sake...
