more of a hassle than anything.... oil filters are a multi step cleaning process taking up to a couple days (spare filter needed or dont drive vehicle until dry and done)

dry filters can be cleaned in literally 5 minutes tops..

Once you've got some km's on it, please give us your feedback. I was looking into that one or the K&N as well. Cheers!

hi how is the filter working for you so far. I am mostly concerned about the fit. Not sure how well the cage mechanism works. The stock one fits tight so I know there is no bypass. Have you had enough miles to have to remove for cleaning and take a look if any dirt got through ?

I'll be curious to hear your input on how this has done - and improvements on mpg or hp, if any, and of course, the actual fit.

most reviews I have seen says it doesn't make a difference vs the stock, with the stock one you plug it in and good to go, no need to wash and wait a few hours to dry. The fit will get worse as years go by and the rubber shrinks. The factory stock filter quality is not bad at all.

That sticker alone adds 5hp But seriously, I've been looking into various filter replacements for years for any type of gains, whether hp or mpg, and the consensus is that it is negligible. Not to say people shouldn't buy these, but just be honest going into it. They have other benefits to a buyer, or are sometimes just a cool mod. Unless you get on a dyno, you probably won't see a couple hp gain. Even still, I will continue to debate whether to enhance my air intake like everyone else.
