Auto gearbox flush

Auto gearbox flush
I am going on a roadtrip in a few weeks time, almost 5000km trip, and seeing that my service is due, will be doing engine oil and filters. I was thinking of doing the gearbox as well. They can either just do the service or complete flush. If the ATF marked dipstick in the front on the engine bay, is the correct one for checking gearbox oil, the oil is as clean as a whistle. So i am not sure if i should go ahead and do the flush. As i only bought the car 6 months ago, not sure what was done before.

here is a good test to do. get a clean sheet of paper and put a drop of your fluid on it. if it looks rosy pink, that fluid is fresh. If it is a burgundy/burnt color...better clean it out. I change all of my fluid every 45k miles.

Sorry bro, its just i have read of people doing an oil change and dont get no gears, and then i hear the word ' the system needs bleeding' and all that. I have done all my services on my previous cars but i never owned a car like this before bro. I did my own oil change today bro, with no worries!!

no need to apologise.
and good job. perhaps post a quick write up so the next person who bothers searching can find out what you did/found/ it was easy or whatever.
