If not I'll do ya a deal, make yours available for a few tests and you get a free conversion.

I've just been through all the threads on MMCS (58 pages on one ) and the same questions keep popping up which nobody seems to have a reply.

What is the difference between JS-01, 02, 03 and 04 models and can the same LOADING.KWI program work for all to convert Japanese to English?

The other question I have is what does ALL.data file do and should we install this?I'm still working on getting the correct IDE/SATA adaptor which will plug into my laptop HDD. Orginally, I didn't appreciate that you needed to plug the MMCS HDD into the hard dive connection on PC to boot up in Linux and somehow thought I could do this via USB. Silly me.

With some of my trolling I came across this link which may be the answer to the OZ/NZ maps. Would be nice to know as I'm not game enough to try given my lack of knowledge on the IT. Can someone else comment please?

This is not a money making thing for me. If I get all figured out I'm more inclined to help those who need it and enable this brillant system work the way it should. In fact, I just bought another second hand unit simply to have a play with on the bench. Hoping it has a HDD which I can upgrade then swap with mine (wishfull thinking).

Those maps are for dual DVD Aus-specific A-0x MMCS - a completely different device.

But you can try it

Though there's no free DIY solution, paid one does exist since April AFAIR.

Hello. Im from New Zealand and already have a converted MMCS on my Outlander. Everything is fine except I can't get the local time to show. American time zones are all I have. Can someone please help? Can I turn off the GPS from setting the time? Cheers.

Thanks Vadimus. Exactly what I did. I really wanted to learn how to add a time zone to the loading.kwi file and was looking for something to read about it. Cheers.
