Diesel Tuning Box?
#6
I think a tune would be better than installing a "chip". From what I've read, most "chips" do something to the MAF/MAP to fool the computer to dumping more fuel into the engine for the sake of getting more power...revolving around gasoline engines.
Most users here have gasoline engines. I'm not surprised the lack of responses here.

I used to have a DTUK tuning box on my old 3.0 V6 Diesel Vectra and it made a huge difference put it up from 170BHP to 217bhp and 280 lb ft torque.
I have thought about it for the Outlander however they are not really built for speed lol

The idea behind the tuning box is to intercept the signal between the ECU and the injection system usally the common rail and basically allows it to inject more fuel into the cylinders thus producing more torque and power, and because of this the engine is running more efficiently the fuel consumption is also improved because you would have to use less throttle for similar conditions.
