Any "Lexia" Actia XS device is OK if it is not faulty. No need to hunt for more expensive versions.

I recommend using ETACS Decoder.
It does current settings backed up automatically.

Any laptop will do fine though Win 8.1 is a bit more difficult in sense of Actia driver install.

Vadimus, is ETACS currently supporting the US model 2014 Outlander and 2013 Outlander Sport? I know at one it did not and unfortunately I haven't been able to keep up with this thread.

Thanks!

Well done! Hooked up to the Outie just fine. Now I have no idea what I'm doing. Is there a description of the fields available to change and what they do? Or a basic tutorial somewhere?

My main objective is to get the doors to lock automatically when it is put in drive or at speed. Looks like there are several places to make changes in that regard. I'm also assuming after making changes one would encode then Write to ETACS correct?

Thanks!

Yes...
first encode, then write.

I do not see your attempts to reach out. You can link to?

Earl I must not be doing something correctly then. I looked on the map that showes where people with the programer are located, and then i private messaged the person that was in my area. I take it that is not the correct route to take based on your response above. Should i be posting in a public area vs sending a private message?
