Do I need to authenticate when I am at the Home page ( Brand Selection)?

If so, what do I use as the IDENTIFIER and the PASSWORD in the Authentification Box??
No check for updates, no authentication. Just press Cancel.

Default What am I missing???

I upgraded to V06.22 in DiagBox. I cannot locate where to change the settings for:

1. TPMS
2. auto lock/unlock of doors
3. independent fog lamp actuation
4. speed warning alert

I do have communication and have changed my rear wiper intermittent timing from 8 sec to 16 so I know I do have the capability.

Has anyone successfully changed these options on a 2012 Outlander 4cy ES before?

Can anyone provide the tree to arrive at these functions on the menu?

Thanks.

Default One Question

Hi TrailBrake,

How did you make out in changing your TPMS?

Is that setting behind the "Programming by Default" button? Can you confirm that clicking on that button will bring you to the menu to change additional settings? I may have misread on this forum but doesn't that reset all the values for the vehicle to factory defaults?????

I want to proceed cautiously and appreciate your input (or anyone else's).

Thanks !

Unfortunately I haven't had the time to try this out yet. I should have some time tomorrow.

When I do find the menu, I will note how I got there and will share how I got there.

Vadimus probably knows the execution tree off by heart at this point

Default ...pending

Thanks TrailBrake !

I will await your response. Judging by Vadimus' screen shot on 11/05/2012 it appears that is the case but wanted to be sure. Maybe we should wait for a response from somebody who successfully changed it. I just fear of making my 2012 Outie and my wife's 2010 Outie a 'vegetable' by unintentionally loading all factory default settings.

Agreed.

I will be proceeding carefully, and will stop if I get to a point were I don't feel comfortable. If nothing else, I can trace the steps to get to that menu.

I did not click on OK as I wanted to get feedback if this is the correct way of disabling TPMS.
You need to press double gear button to save.

'There are two ways to configure list of default parameters:

Just a reminder, NEVER NEVER NEVER press OK here!
