Yes.
In my 2010 manual the procedure is on page 3-11

If it does not work first time try again to get your timing right on the button press / button release section.

Thank u for your help
The problem is my manual didn't mention any thing about horn setting or number of flashes when pressing on lock
From your forum I found instructions regarding number of flashes setting and it did work

So I thought I can get settings for horn chirp setting

If any one knows ...please tell me the procedure

Do you have stock navi? If so, you can do it in Equipment menu.

To do it with the FAST key fob. (Probably the same with the regular key)

I just did it.

Ignition need to be at OFF
Headlight stalk need to be at off (not auto but OFF)
Driver door opened.

On the fob

press on the lock button (the lock will work) and while pressing count 5 seconds (5 steamboats) then while still holding on lock, press on unlock for about 4-5 seconds.

Release the unlock button first then the lock button, the car will chirp once to confirm no horn confirmation.

It does that because no setting was recorded in the system.

Now do it again to move to the setting you need.

Since you want the horn confirmation, you immediately redo the same sequence and the car will chirp twice to indicate the horn confirmation is on.

If you do it a third time you will get 4 chirps indicating you will have to press lock twice within one second to get horn confirmation.
This is the sequence the book is writing about.

Reset your light stalk to auto if it was there before.
Get out (you need to do this from outside the car)
Close doors.
Try locking using the fob you shoulds get horn confirmation (I did)

Hi Claude_A

I tried the above instructions, it is not working... when I press Lock button and Door is open I dont hear the Lock relays and nothing happen, when I go a head and perform the the rest of instructions I dont hear any chimes or chirps,

but when releasing the Lock button first then Unlock button, this will change the door lock setting.. which is the choice of opening Driver's Door lock only, or all doors

You have to release the unlock first then the lock.

if you do it the other way like your are saying you change the door unlock mode as you noticed.

What country are you in? Sometime systems are different country to country.

I feel the etacs is locked or feature is disabled. But what encouraged me to try is the alarm horn is working normally

I will try to ask dealer although I know their answer is ready!
