Default Issue with my new Outlander sport.

So I picked up my Outlander Sport SE last month and it's still under 3,000 miles.

Today, while trying to start it, it wouldn't. Instead it displayed "Immobilizer Service Required"

It started after about 15 mins. I called the dealer and their service department said it might be a fluke, but I can take it Monday evening for a loaner car until they look at it.

Could it be a fluke?

Nothing changed, all stock parts. 2015 Outlander Sport SE.

Not good...but I'm thinking no biggie as well...my guess is a software glitch.
My 09 Lancer had the same type of no start condition...did it in the first few weeks of ownership....took it back to the dealer...they reflashed the computer...problem solved..

I had it happen a few times with my 13 Lancer as well...it would start..but it cranked a bit long...and took a few tries...same thing ..reflash..went away...
It seems like its kinda common on the Lancers..I could be wrong.

Let the dealer fix it to your satisifaction...best of luck.

Thanks.

It cranked hard for me earlier this month, two different times, had to have the button pushed in for like 3-4 seconds and then it finally went.

Hopefully it's nothing major. Sucks I have to get a loaner car but I can't take off a day of work to go.
