Keyless is clueless
Hey there
About a week ago our 2006 Outlander started to beep excessively at us. We've got the FAST keys.
The car is unlocked but as soon as the door is open, the beeping starts. The display is asking to "check key location" or "check your door" and just to add insult to injury, I've heard the doors lock and unlock as I stand by the driver's door as the side mirrors retract.
No, the key are in my hand, not in a bag next to phone. I have replaced the batteries in the remote but this craziness continues.
Any ideas?
Dirty sensor?
Is there a reset/reboot for the keyless system?
