Default Leak at axle seal?

I have a 2003 Outlander and my transmission is leaking like the fluid is being poured out of the bottle.......Looked at it and it is leaking where the axle goes into the transmission on the drivers side. Anyone familiar with this and how to fix it? Any pictures about that show how to do this?

if this is coming from the front, then my guess you'd need one of these guys:
RockAuto Parts Catalog

I had a rear differential output shaft seal that went out. Cost $5 but took a few hours to replace myself. if you have a shop do it, could be a couple hundred in labor. Be cautious if the shop tries to sell you a new CV shaft. It *could* be the shaft if the seal wore into the shaft, as I saw on mine...but I changed the seal and my leak stopped.
