In other words, no, there's no drain plug. You must use a suction tool. HOWEVER, that is if you're not planning on changing the trans filter. You should take off the transmission pan and change the filter anyway. If you don't feel like sucking up the fluid, you can just loosen the pan, and let the fluid drain out that way. That can be a little messy if you aren't used to doing this sort of thing. Perhaps that's best left to skilled hands, but only you know how comfortable you are with a wrench in your hand.

True not all transmission fluid will come out like from the trans cooler, or all from the converter, but IMO its not an issue your getting the majority and replacing it with new fluids so should be ok...
