Our new (to us) Outie. Loving it so far. Its the 2.2 Di-D MIVEC engine version from 2011.. The thing may not be fun to drive but it is comfortable and more economical than our old Seat Freetrack Diesel. It has more torque and is a lot more relaxing to drive over distances too.. Getting 40 MPG from our old car would have been almost impossible without driving like a grandad. So to see 45 MPG over a 70 to 80 mile run was gob smacking.
The only thing I am not impressed with is the MMCS system. I may get used to it but I think if I could swap it for a new head unit that will run Apple Play and Android Auto then the maps would never be out of date or need an expensive update. The phone function would be better too...

Pic to follow at a later date...
Two subarus in a row, switched to Mitubushi.
Just bought a 2016 Outlander V6.
Looking for information about roof top tents and off road trailers to pull.
I know the manual states that the roof is rated for 110 pounds only...
Does anyone know if that number increases with crossbars like thule/yakima or is that the limit period...
most roof top tents are slightly above 110 lbs. Although there are a few under not readily available...I found a baja series kukenam that weighs 108..
also looking at whether anyone is pulling an off road trailer behind the outlander for outdoor fun.
