Default Possible Valve Cover? Spark Plugs drenched in oil

Been doing some research and I would like input if you guys have had the same situation. I've got a 2004 outlander which has not given me any issues. I was changing my plugs and noticed 3 of the 4 plugs I pulled were covered in oil. Could this be just be a cracked valve cover gasket? I will be taking it off this weekend to find the issue. Has anybody had this issue before?

Thanks!

and i havent been disapointed.
Get a picture of an engine. Then try drawing a line between the valves (what the valve cover covers, funny enough) and the spark plugs.
