Default Scratches in headliner fabric

Just bought a 2013 Outlander. Everything is perfect except the roof is very scratched up. Since the scratched parts are 'fluffier' than the rest of the roof, I'm thinking of trying to cut it back. Has anyone had success with this sort of thing? Tips?

Thanks!

IMHO...I would find a good upholstery shop...make a few calls..It shouldn't be too terrible..maybe 3-400 $...If you want to keep the car any length of time it would be a good investment I think....Best of Luck!

back in the day, when I was forced to wear sweaters, we had something that looked like an electric shaver, but it was to take the "fuzzies" and/or "pills" hanging off the sweaters. something like that may make it less noticeable.

The other idea is to ask /r/AutoDetailing at reddit.com
