Hi folks

i collect my outlander (2004 model) tomorrow so have been snooping about here looking for info on what mods, tuning, upgrades etc can be done (the usual newbie stuff!).

What i have noticed is that as expected with a new model, most of the posts are aboud 2nd gen outlanders and the info on 1st gen ones is hard to find.
Would it be possible for a sub forum for each Gen be created making it easier to search and post info according to Gen?

hi recardo,
good luck with your outlander. if you want to find posts concerned with the first gen, you have to go (back) ahead to around page 30 and higher. a few of us continually discussed the dearth of aftermarket parts for the outlander. the only readily available custom part i found is the weapon-r
intake. i have a couple other things on my '06, but no real performance parts other than a lightened crank pulley. eibach's and arospeed's lowering springs are no longer available, and no other custom performance parts are available in the usa, except some lancer 4g69 headers from road race motorsports in ca, requiring a fabricated connection to mate the lancer headers with the outlander exhaust...something to consider when your stock system rusts out....
anyway, you might find some useful info somewhere in our collective rantings....

I suggested that to one of the forum moderators not long after I joined. The said that they would look into it with whoever runs the site. I have never heard or seen anything since about splitting it up.
