If you lift the truck and dangle the wheel from left to right and feel a play, I would check on the tie rod end.

Thanks a lot. My mechanic told me the same thing but I haven't done it yet.

hey no problem ! It's an easy check:


left to right : tie rod
up to down : ball joint


hope this solves it for you.
