My 2009 outlander Australia had the v belt replaced last week under the recall notice they also did the brake switch while at it.
Now car runs a little smoother but what I've noticed is the fuel consumption is a little higher 2 litres to the 100 more. Could this be tension of new belt ie drag? Or could it just be the belt will wear in over a few weeks? Been a week now and no improvement in consumption figures. Cheers
