It's definitely an aftermarket hack job, not part of FAST key. I can tell from several facts. The board itself is cut from another circuit, it's not perfectly square, looks like it was cut then filed. The wire uses the shielding as a third wire, and the wires aren't cut properly, too much bare wire is exposed. The heatshrink doesn't look factory.

Obviously the 1 is a capacitor, but i'm still not sure what the other peice is, can you get a top and side view of it. Judging by the fact that the back of the board says IR1, it's possibly an infrared receiver of some sort. Do you have a navi system in your car?? Can you play the DVD's while driving?? Perhaps it serves as a remote receiver or maybe an automatic headlight relay or something.

Just an update, people.
Another forum (closer to Electronics, not cars) suggested just the same as you did, gggplaya.
It's probably a IR receiver for the aftermarket DVD player that sits under the shotgun seat.
Some screens have been built into the front seat headrests, so the kids can watch movies from the middle seats.
