Default Wiring in additional Day time running lights

Hey
Hopefully this is in the right place
Im hoping some of you guys can give me some insight here.
I have a 2013 RVR (Outlander Sport) and I have installed aftermarket HIDs for my fogs, headlights, and highbeams.
Now because the RVR runs DTRs off the same bulb as the headlights with just half current, when my headlights are not turned on, I get that flicker. So I have been running for the last few months with headlights on at all times.

I have been looking at obtaining a set of fog light housing that has the LED strip along side it or just a separate LED fixture to work as DTR's. Is there a way to re-wire so these LED's become my daytime running lights so I can leave my headlights off until I need them at night and just turn the switch as normal?
Part if me is thinking no because all the vehicle is doing is using the same wire just sending half the current to the bulb so a normal halogen would be half as bright as when you switch it to headlights.

Aliexpress.com : Buy 2013 2014 Year For Mitsubishi OUTLANDER SPORT ASX RVR LED DRL Daytime Running Light from Reliable Daytime Running Lights suppliers on Angel eye 2014 | Alibaba Group

I haven't found anything on my search and just want to know if its possible before I wander off and order something.
We had attempted to wire it so just the marker/park lights came on for DTR but nothing changed so just not sure what to try. Would like to save my HID's if I can.
Thanks!

Aww I hope you feel all big and special now. But your stupidity supersedes you since you still couldn't even link to the right answer. Why don't you just give up now?

Ignore Akzle. if you have an issue that is older than a decade, he's your guy.

you should look into the Customizing ETACs thread. using the Lexia device, you can re-program DRL feature to use foglight harness instead of headlights.

damn. that sounds so straight forward.

...almost as straight forward as using a fu*ken relay to turn the lights on.

I connected mine directly to the fuse box in the engine bay.

Buy a piggy back fuse holder (ebay) and use a connection that comes live when the ignition is on.

Just pull out the existing fuse and plug in the piggyback which you should have wired to your lights.
