Mitsubishi Outlander 2013 Model ZJ

Both remote keys stopped working one day. Checked remote batteries - 3V - All OK.

Figured it must be something to do with the car since both remotes stopped working at once.

Eventually found that putting key in door lock and turning to lock or Unlock (can't remember which - only did it once) and then while the key is still turned pressing either lock or unlock on the key (can't remember which only did it once) caused the door locks to actuate and the remote keys miraculously worked from then on.

Maybe try this before playing with the DLC and paperclip etc.
