Hello everyone,
Just found this forum and thought this would be a good place to get some help. I have a 06 raider durocross 4x4 6-speed standard with v6. My Dash lights in the instrument cluster behind the speedo, tach, and fuel gauge have gone out and will not come back on. It started like a short, some times they would work and sometimes not. Everything else works in the instrument cluster. Has anyone had this problem and if so what was the fix.

Also, does anyone know if I try replacing the cluster if I need to have it programmed to my truck or if the different cluster would just plug in and work?

 

I have figured out that the light issue is the cluster, the ribbon illumination filament. I do not believe this is replacable so the new question is if I get a used instrument cluster do I need to have it programmed?
