Default 94 VR4 problem

Hi..

My 94 has the following issues...

Oil in all the piping and I'm sure the cat

White smoke from the tail, which can make my house disappear within a minute... (No evidence of head gasket on the dipstick or under the cap)... ???

Here is what I have tried...

1) Replaced PCV valve with aftermarket... After some oil burned off, it ran fine for 2 days, then that was it... Smoke returned... I now have an OEM, but don't want to try it yet because it was crazy tracking one down...

2) Replaced everything that would be on a 60K service except water and fuel pump... (It has 57K)

3) Cried myself to sleep in the local produce market while holding watermelons... No longer allowed there..

There is barely any loss in power, the turbos respond fine... Maybe (Hopefully), the front is messed up, as I have heard you have to lift the engine to get to the rear??? Please tell me I'm wrong... Thanks for any input

Default Thanks

I will explore that link... Is it better to just replace the turbos or tear them apart and replace whatever??? (Money wise)

Cheaper to buy the kit to rebuild turbos, and that's the route to go if you're planning to stay stock. If you aren't, now is the time to buy some bigger and better turbos. There are lots of options for the 3/S platform and there are a bunch of reliable shops to purchase them from.

Default Upgrading

I heard somewhere that going to 15g will bust the transmission... As far as the rear, can I remove it by lifting the plenum, or can I do it under the car??? What is a good site to get rebuild kits??

Do you think it could be from too much or not enough oil? When I bought the car it had a valve cover leak so the guy just kept putting oil in when it got too low.

I own a shop and I know alot of people that bought these cars 13 years ago. They are horribly designed cars and you can ask anyone they are nothing but junk. I would sell it as fast as you can and buy something a little more up to date, at least in the 2000's good luck
