I own a Mitsubishi Lancer Diesel which my uncle bought 1999. Here are the specs of the car Engine : 2.0 L No. of Cylinders : 4 No. of Valves : 8 Bore x Stroke(mm) : Not Specified Displacement(CC) : 1998 Compression Ratio : Not Specified Fuel System : Distribution Type Injection Pump Performance (0-100 km/h) in Seconds : Not Specified Valvetrain : SOHC Maximum Power : 65bhp@4500rpm Maximum Torque : 122.5Nm@3000rpm Transmission Transmission Type : Manual Gearbox : 5 Speed Driveline : Front Wheel Fuel Economy City(kmpl) : 12 Highway(kmpl) : 16 Fuel Type : Diesel I am a hard core fan of lancer, so I dont even like driving other cars. The only problem I am facing now is the Lack of power These days each and every diesel cars in India is being fitted with Turbo and they are all 1300 cc. My Lancer can reach around 165 kmph, but still the smaller turbo cars have upper hand bcos of good acceleration. I wonder what the performance is if my babe is fitted with turbo, bcos it is 1900 cc !!! I guess there are somany lancer lovers up here in this forum, please help me out and find me a solution to fix a turbo charger or any thing which would increase the power of the car. Please dont suggest me to change the engine !! cos here petrol prices are soo high, so I cant leave my diesel engine !!!
