Actually last month i did go Philippine. And i see there have an dangerous road. like as "Halsema highway" is situated in Philippines that connected from Baguio City to sagada which is approximately 150 miles long. But i did enjoy this road.

I didn't know Halsema highway was listed as a top death road! I drove there once and never did again since the falling debris was really scary and alarming.

btw, where i live, we have third world roads classed as "state highways" - not uncommon to be down to one lane each way because half the road has fallen off/ into the ocean/ flooded/ a mountain fell over/ the government has decided to dig iut up for cables/ drainage/ fun.

All I can say, is that I travelled the 'Free Fall Freeway" in Himachal Pradesh ..... and almost met my maker. Dunno if it's in that (broken link) Top 5, but it's certainly in mine!

If people pay attention while driving and quit using their phones while behind the wheel it would really cut down on the accidents.

Link is not working anymore, though one of my best friends mountain biked down Bolivia's "Road of Death". She heard someone had died doing it and therefore had to try it herself. Gladly she's OK.
