TCU ?

Default TCU ?

OK for the past week i have been having this problem i tried to clear my codes on a 2000 galant gtz i disconnected the positive cable and now i put about 500 or so miles on it and the car shifts funny ever since i disconected the cable could it be i wiped something out from the tcu or a shift sensor.By the way the car shifts hard from3 to od it seems atleast i think thats what gears it's doing it in all i know it's a big jurk but when it happens it doesn't rev high at all.Any help would be highly appreciated.

start by having autozone run that code when it comes back on

last time i went to auto zone there cheap little scanners didn't read anything for my car but i am gonna try them again

well the light has to be on. Your car is new enough it will pick it up if the light is on

it's cured i disconnected the battery again waited 15 minutes and let it run for another 15 all is fine but the last time i don't know what happened kind of weird if you ask me and yes the ses light was on before but it was picking code 403 only wich is emissions (egrsolenoid).
