PO101 code but MAF fine
Hi,
I've been trying to figure out what is wrong with my '01Eclipse 3.0 for a while now. My mileage went from 30 to 23mpg several months ago (obviously an air/fuel system issue). I get an PO101 code which means the MAF sensor circuit is faulty.. so I clean and test the MAF and then test it and it checks out fine - operates in the proper hz range and it responds as it should to idle changes as far as I can tell.
I don't really want to purchase a new MAF. The last thing I want to do is start replacing parts at random to hopefully fix a problem Is there another component that can throw this code that I should be checking? I may have to take it in to get a full diagnostic at some point but I'm hoping some feedback from the forum i might be able to solve this.
Thanks
