Default idle air control valve

anybody know how to test one, where it is located and how hard to change......... thanks for the help

i couldnt find anything in the vfaq about this........... car doesnt seem to have any symptoms, but ses light is on, had the mechanic get the code and clear the computer, came back 2 days later, any ideas...........

it is uaually on the throttle body. I'll go run out and see if I can spot it on mine. Alright, on my 97 GST the TPS is on the front of the TB, there's a sensor housing on the botton right under the intake tube and then there's also vacume lines going to a couple things on the firewall. None of these look like the IACV's I've seen in the past so I'm not sure. So you don't have any problems but the computer's reading that it's bad?

yea, its starting to run a little high at idle, so i think its just a warning light..........
