Eh Eh of course I'll go to my dealer show the work and I'll tell us about you!!!

last wire connector C-7

Tips and Trick's about wire the connector

The connector D-6 and D-16 in the rear-seat DVD have the holes need for the wire empty without metal pin and is very difficult found this connector in the elettronic shop.

I tried to make a wire with the "pin strip", I buyed the coupple pin strip, "male and female", pin distance are about 3 mm.

The strip enters perfectly in the connector.

This's a male strip with wire and heat-shrinkable tubing.
This strip enter in the female connector D-6

female strip in the D-6 female connector

male connector D-6 with full wire.

I have found this idea and this is pretty simple and functional.

sorry to sound a bit thick did you have to run the wires all the way back to the mmc nav from the dvd player if so how did you manage to do it and how do you keep a way from the curtain air bags or are the wires already in the roof lining but just need extending from the wiring loom fitting? (i am colour blind)

Default Cabel between front and rear

I'm a bit stuck. In my car (Norwegian '08 outlander) There is no additional cabeling present. So in order to connect these two items I ned the original cabel-kit. Does anyone have the part-number or other unique identification to this cabel-kit? My dealer is willing to connect the two items together, but so far they have not found the right cables. In order to find it they need the part-ID or a VIN (viechle identification number) to a car with cables factory installed. In that way they can search the spesific viechle and find the part they need that way. And order it from Japan. Can anyone please post / e-mail me the item-number or your VIN if you have the cabelling factory installed in your Outie?

Did you ever figure out what the round connector on the head unit is? It looks like the same type of connector that is on the rear display unit next to D-6 connector. I'm wondering if I can just use that to connect the rear display to the head unit. Thanks.
