RE: 1990 gs
Yes it might... try resetting the ECU
Another big issue i see here are the bosche plugs... get those f-ing things out of there and put in some NGK Classics |
RE: 1990 gs
Alright ill try resetting it and see what happens and could the plugs really be causing a problem beacsue they are brand new

RE: 1990 gs
Yes... they suck. They cause issues right out of the box

RE: 1990 gs
so how are you putting a cold air intake on a car with a mass airflow sensor anyway?
|
RE: 1990 gs

Probably not, as was mentioned previously make sure your plugs are properly gapped, and as long as we're on the plugs discussion I'd recommend getting NGK copper plugs from now on. They're cheap and seem to work best really. You can check the coolant temp sensor to make sure it's acting as it should, here's a diagram that should be enough to get you started. Basically at or around 70*F you should be reading ~3k ohms on a multimeter. Autozone should have a multimeter there you can use to check and see if you even need a sensor.

ORIGINAL: Ep!C ORIGINAL: racerx55 so how are you putting a cold air intake on a car with a mass airflow sensor anyway? its really kinda useless with all the restriction of the MAS anyway. id change those plugs . nothing but trouble. |
RE: 1990 gs
I have the intake on but the MAS isnt connected to anything because there is nothing to plug it into, would that cause something or what am i supposed to do with it?
