93 Mit. Eclipse GS Transaxle/Tranfer Case

I sure could use some help locating the transaxle and/or transfer case fill locations. I did locate one towards the front of the vehicle but can't locate the other. This has manual transmission and it sounds dry going down the road. Thanks

there is only one fill spot i belive and thats the one to the front, unless you pull the speedo cable and fill from there haha.. the dry sound.. have you recently had the clutch replaced? even if not, it could just be the clutch rubbing on the flywheel..

Thats where you fill the tranny at and when the fluid comes out, thats whenyou know its full.

There is a drain plug and of course its at the bottom of the trans.

Like dsm said the tranny has a drain plug on the bottom of the tranny and then toward the front of the tranny is the fill hole. You will need to buy a fill hose from a parts store. Its a real cheap thing that has a rubber hose and a cap that allows you to screw the bottle into it. Then the t-case is a whole different thing on its own. The drain plug is right on the bottom. and the fill hole is on the side of the t-case, probably the opposite side the tranny connects. Remember to only use manufacturers specifications on the fluids. I dont remember exactly which to use

Thanks a lot for the info., I still can't find the fill hole on the tranny. Is it on the side (drivers or passenger side) - back side ??? I do appreciate all the help. Thanks again

Ok it's on the front side of the transmission, and left of the clutch slave cylinder/clutch release arm.
