Default another frustrating problem

ok, when i bought my 92 eclipse, all the lights worked perfect...Now i went to install my CD player and my parking lights and dash lights wont work.. I went back, connected this green and white wire to a hot wire, they turned on but will not turn off so i un-connected it. Now i cant drive my car at night because i cant see my dash. My headlights, turn signals, and taillights and brake lights all work.. Any suggestions?

It sounds like you have the Illumination wire connected to something that it's not supposed to be. Did you use an aftermarket wire harness or was the stock harness hacked? Your wiring is just incorrect and it needs to be rewired correctly, that's all.

You connected to a wire and they wouldnt turn off? Try finding the wire to your cigarette lighter or another one that turns off when the car turns off. Or if you cant find the wire just wire it down to your fuse box and connect it to a fuse that functions with something that turns off when the car turns off.
