car problem, wont start.....
 

not to sure what topic this post goes in cuz i dont know the problem.... lol... but my car wont start, i tried turnin headlights on and they dont dim when i turn key. i dont get any clickin or anything and it dont turn over. just got brand new alternator. the battary is not dead. i checked connections and the neg is as tight as i can get but it still is movable when i try hard. any idea whats wrong with my car now????

how about the starter? is it working? anything else electrical is working? timming belt ok? it could be the keyswitch

it dont even turn over, so the belt is out. all other electronics work and lights DONT dim when i turn key....... idk about the starter, i dont get the one loud click liked i did on my last bad starter, it dont click at all or anything when i turn my key.... it acts like it would when tryin to start a clutch and not puttin the pedal in. but i tried disconectin the clutch switch, didnt work. i even tried pushin the switch all the way in with my finger and it didnt worked.....

when you turn the key to the on positionn wil your electronics still come on/?

yep, everything works like normal.. just wont turn over.

i get senior pics in a couple weeks and want a pic with my car but i havnt fixed yet.... im very busy with workin all day so i can afford the bike i wanna buy so can anyone here give me some adivise to what the problem could be???

Check the starter..... I just had the same issue, no click, everything else worked, lights didn't dim either when trying to start,,, checked the starter and it was dead.. checked with a backup starter I had from a hanger queen I have and it kicked right over. Check the starter.
