Default Complete swap

Hello, I'm a brand spankin newby. I am thinking of selling my Honda Civic SI and buying my friend's '94 Eclipse. The only way I will do this, is if I can make it a GSX. I don't know much at all about Mitsubishis' so I need help. Where would I find a good 2.0 DOHC (don't know the code name) and all of the all wheel drive parts? And how hard would it be to do this my self? Please help, It is greatly appreciated.

That much huh? Most 2nd gen GSX's I see are at minimum $7,000. I did'nt realize it would cost so much. Well, if money was'nt an option (which it is) were would I look for these parts?

A 1g GSX shell.

Its all about finding the right deal. I found a 2g Talon AWD for 4k. It had forged pistons, forged rods, race head, 660 injectors, ECU flash, FMIC, Exhaust, Intake... all together adding up to prolly like 10k in parts. All for 4k. So, the deals are there to be had

Well, I don't know how much you know about Tennessee, but there are practically no deals around here. Plus a bunch of lemons sold by monkey mechanics. So, if I were to do this, I might be better off buying the parts. I have not had much luck finding donor cars except on ebay there is a '95 Eclipse GSX for around $1,200. I'll keep looking. After all, I don't even own the car yet. I think it is a pretty good deal. It is a '94 red Eclipse 1.8L 5 speed. with 38k miles for only $300!! It just needs a distributer. You say it's worth it?
