no matter how hard i look i cannot find half of one of my rod bearings, i have looked on the crank, in the oil pan, on the pushrods, checked to see if it fell.. cant find it.. could it have completely dissinigrated?? haha
also while im at it.. are all of the rod bearings supposed to look the same?? cuz 3 halfs of mine, that i can find, have a lip that is cracked on it.. like, it isnt just a piece of metal curved to the shape of the crank, it has a lip bent over and all cracked up on 3 of them.. is that just how bad it blew??

no.. no i didnt.. it was my step dad.. when the clutch was bad.. when the clutch was GONE lol he drove it 5 miles down the road and back to pawn the title and he had to redline it the whole way.. i knew something wasnt right when he hit the gas once i it blew a puff of smoke, thats prolly when it blew.. but seriously, how did one of them dissapear? i can only find 7 pieces

 

No clue man. Check your oil filter lol

 

if it is in the oil filter it disinigrated any ways in order to fit through that tiny hole

 

Was there any metal in the pan? Post some pics.

 

ill get some pics tomorrow or later today, but yea, there were VERY smalls shavings of metal in my oil.. like, it make the oil look metallic. ill get some pics of the rod bearings.. good and bad.. and what else do yall want a pic of?
