I would just get a shop manual on the turbo car, that will have all your wiring diagrams in it. Actually check the eclipse FAQ's there is an online manual for the 4g63. Its a PDF and kinda a pain to load but it should have it in there as well.

I Dont think you wanna put in a second gen engine... well atleast not the bottom end....I would use the 1st gen bottom end and the 2nd gen head

Clipse he said he has a 2g engine lying around. I dont see any reason why he shouldnt use it, expecially when its FREE

ok thanks for all the info but i finally got the car finished and almost ready for the street but i finally got the motor to turn and it turns hard its slow so idk if the timming is off on it any help on there

one more thing the motor is turning but not starting we checked the spark wires and coil and there fine but the motor started to turn slowly could it be that one of the vaccum lines could be the problem

Check your timing marks and check compression.

Do u have fuel?

there all good i figured it was the ignition unit if anyones got a spare can i barrow it

hmmm if it is turning slow it could either be timing or try charging your battery.. if it is struggleing to turn i would check the battery first, if it is not struggling, just slow, i would check timing

if you have good spark then its possibly not getting fuel. Make sure the fuel pump is clicking when your trying to start. Also make sure some simple things are in order like you MAF sensor is plugged in
