RE: heads
yes it will fit... and you are getting the upgraded 6 bolt block that came in the 92.5 models and before. (no crankwalk)
|
RE: heads
dont need more info it wil fit but ifyou are looking for a fast car down the road consider finding a 1g head
|
RE: heads
well i have the hwole 1g moter i just heard from a few ppl that the 2g head flowed better so i thought that it would be the be one to put on
|
RE: heads
thats the same thing i did. I had a 2g head on my 6 bolt block. But you need the 1g head bolts. The 2g ones arent long enough. And yeah they flow a little better.

RE: heads
2g head has smaller ports than the 1g head, making it have better velocity, over more volume and slower air speed of the 1g head to my understanding.

Take that as it is, I like my 2G head on my 6 bolt. ORIGINAL: TheEngineer ORIGINAL: jsawyer well i have the hwole 1g moter i just heard from a few ppl that the 2g head flowed better so i thought that it would be the be one to put on From my readings on T U N E R S and Talk, the 2G has the best angles when comparing the 1G head to the 2G head. What does that mean? Have someone experienced in boring and someone that knows how to correctly use the angles for velocity and volumetric flow and you've got close to an EVO head...minus the 7 bolt crank. Here's my thoughts on the 2 heads. 1G head good for large turbos and the 1/4. 2G head good for the smaller turbos and the twisties. Those would be ideal for a stock head. It's a different story once they are opened up. This is an open ended issue btw, there will always be arguments on both sides...mine is on the 2g head side :D |
