I bought a '91 Eagle Talon a few weeks ago and now my check engine light cam on. I ran the codes and come to find out its the Oxygen sensor and an EGR. What is an EGR? and how can i fix it quickly? thanx

RE: I got one
EGR= Exhaust Gas Recirculation. EGR valve is located on the intake manifold. It is held in place by 2 bolts and has 1 vacuum line running to it. Shouldn't take you more than 5-10 minutes to replace. The O2 sensor will require a special socket to remove and install. Also shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes to accomplish.

RE: I got one
If its a modded car then those codes are normal. Some people block off the egr valve b/c it puts hot exaust gas into the intake. The o2 sensor... it depends on which one is failing. If its the rear it may be because the cayt has been romoved.
