I got scammed

Ok well that bogging in my new used 92 gsx wasn't because it was leaking, the guy I bought it from said Everything was good, and it just needed a new oil filter n oil filter adapter seal, well I paid $3300 and I brought it to the shop, Remember he said he rebuilt the thing, well the shop called me todat and said its going to cost $2000 to fix it, they said I needed these parts that the guy claimed to have fixed already, I'm so pissed

not sure why you would pay that much for a 92 in need of work like that.i have seen many modded 2g gsx's go on ebay for under $5k.no way i would ever pay that much for a 92 unless it was in pristine cond. my .02, that does suck though is there anything you can do about it?

well check this. it had a "new engine" with 6K, with a oil leak. so thats all he said i had to replace. well the mechanic is my parents friend so i trust it. i gotta check what i signed. he also said that he replaced the axles. well when i sent it in to replace the oil seal n filter. they said i needed a new radiator, AXLEs, timing belt because the oil leaked all over it. so they said probably estimate $1500-$2000. IT was CLEAN as hell. and then it just like didnt feel right on the way home. and then yha. im stuck here

it was clean. he said it was just the oil leak. and he gave me the receipt for the engine. said his bro's shop did all the work. so i got it, took it in yesterday, today i come in, and yha 1500-2000 dollars. im trying to see if he'll be a positive person and atleast pay half of te damages.

i'm trying to find $1500 of work here:

Radiator = just do it yourself and save some money

Axle = maybe $600 at most

Timing belt = around $200

So thats $800 and i don't know how much the oil filter and seal will cost but i don't think its $700
