Need advice please
I am thinking about jumping into the mitsubishi world. I am looking at a 93 gsx its straight. but i guess the timing jumped so the head is messed up.
I guess I am asking is this a common problem? how hard an exspensive is it to fix? an is this a good car? Thanks! any other input would be good too. |
really no one??

How much is the guy selling it for?

you can replace it yourself if you are mechanically inclined. Youll need to send the head to a machine shop to be fixed. But the rest isnt too bad. The machine shop will charge around 400-500 to do. Otherwise if you bring it some where guaranteed you will be spending about $2k to have it fixed at a shop.

Ya I wannt to do it all myself. I just dont want to get in over my head. Are these pretty fun cars? Thanks!

really fun cars :D

well if you are going to get any then a GSX is the one. A couple things i would check is for rust. These cars tend to rust especially with the age. And also check the suspension because again age will have components fail.
