Is there a difference for installation of a safc II then just the safc?

no, just follow the vfaq instructions, its quite simple, you just tap into a few wires on the ecu harness. make sure those connections are good though, i had one of my grounds come loose, and when the safc looses power your car wont run.

im not a fan of the SAFC but GL with the install n let us know how it goes n runs ;)

whats wrong with the safc? it does wonders for $150 used. unless you're willing to drop $600 on dsmlink, have an available laptop, and spend another $250 on an epprom socket and chipped ecu, there is no better choice.

its just a preferance, some people do n some dont

i thought it was pretty easy installing the safc 2 in my car... it was just kinda hard because of the wrapping the wiring is in but all you have to do is splice into like 6 wires i think.

yes it is very easy as long as you have the correct instrutions;)
