upgrades
depends what you want to do exactly... If you want a sleeper then I would start with small things like a catback/headers/intake.. If your looking to do a lot of spending, then looking for an aftermarket turbo would be a good addition..
scratch that it's not a gsx it's just an eclipse but it runs awesome needs paint and maybe interior if i really care about it that much, but first thing first engine work. I am going to eventually turbo it, but until then i should go intake, headers, exhaust and start building the engine up to handle the turbo, right?
I would go the cheapest route and buy a gsx from the start. 1g's are dirt cheap these days, people on my local forum sell 12 second 1g's for around $2000 all the time. you will save omney the in the long run and make things easier on you
ok so you dont even have the car yet???... well the 1g is generally better in many aspects.. (for both talon and eclipse... and laser.. same damn car man)... handling.. speed... overall they can generally take more *** kicking than a 2nd gen... although 2nd gen in about 99% of peoples opinions look WAY cooler... start out with a damn turbo car if you want a turbo.. or just blow up a few non turbo motors when you slap boost on them and realize you shouldve spent the money the right way the first time... gsx-all wheel drive gs-t front wheel just for reference..
