A\C System Engine Throw Codes
 

Hey guys, what engine codes could be thrown with the a\c to a 1999 mitsubishi eclipse rs? Due to my car a\c works but it is not really cold thinking it might be the compressor not turning on.

These are the OBDII engine codes pertaining to an A/C system

P0530 A/C Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
P0531 A/C Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Circuit Range/Performance
P0532 A/C Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Input
P0533 A/C Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Circuit High Input
P0534 Air Conditioner Refrigerant Charge Loss

Is your check engine light on? If it is then just go to autozone or something and have them run the code

If you pop the hood while the car is running and listen to the compressor you should be able to hear it switch on. Of course somebody else will have to press the A/C button. If the compressor turns on then you might have a leak in the A/C system somewhere.

where is the a\c compressor relay located in with a 420a engine? Also, if it is the compressor not turning on, should i replace the relay or do i know that i have to get another compressor?
